The 18cm pair in Eight Needles’ listing is described from a sewing-room perspective: useful around the machine or ironing board, and for smaller cuts where full-length tailor’s shears are awkward. The listing also says that its compact size makes it less suitable as the main pair for cutting out large pieces of fabric. The specific 18cm model.
