A professional 60cm transparent pattern-making ruler from BUNKA, ideal for drafting larger pattern areas and adding seam allowances accurately.

The ruler features a 5mm full grid across the entire surface and includes a useful 12mm seam allowance guide. Its longer 60cm length makes it especially practical for larger pattern pieces and extended drafting work.

Made from seven layers of rigid PVC film, the ruler is designed to remain flat, clear and durable over long-term use.

– BUNKA Multi-Layer Construction –

BUNKA’s original dressmaking rulers use a multi-layer construction designed to protect the printed measurement markings.

The markings are printed onto 0.2mm PVC film, with additional layers of the same film laminated together using heat and pressure.

Because the markings are enclosed within the layered construction rather than exposed directly on the surface, they do not rub directly against paper or fabric, helping prevent them from wearing away over time.

Different film thicknesses are combined to help prevent warping and curling.

A matte film is also laminated using heat and pressure to minimise air bubbles, producing a clear finish that makes pattern lines underneath easy to see.
