This delicate hand-carved wooden needle minder is shaped like a cherry blossom and features an embedded magnet. Paired with a backing magnet, it gently attaches to your fabric to keep your needle securely in place while you work.

Expertly crafted by Ishikawa Sculpture Works in Aichi, this piece is the work of Mr Ishikawa, a second-generation carver and certified traditional craftsman. With over 50 years of experience, his studio specialises in Ranma—ornate transom carvings found in temples. Today, artisans with such refined skills are increasingly rare, making each piece all the more special.

Made from painted pine wood with internal magnets.
